FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to six years after admitting to firing multiple shots at a vehicle carrying his pregnant wife earlier this year.
Michael Ward, 31, was originally charged with attempted murder, criminal recklessness, and unlawful carrying of a handgun following the April 17 incident. According to court documents, Ward’s wife was riding in an Uber when they passed Ward, who then fired three rounds at the vehicle. The gunfire shattered the rear window and flattened a tire. Neither the driver nor Ward’s wife was injured.
