WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man died and another person was injured in a crash that shut down a portion of Interstate 840 earlier this week in Wilson County.
The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office took to social media at approximately 1:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, to alert drivers that the eastbound lanes of I-840 would be “closed indefinitely” due to crash near the 73.4 mile marker.

Then, at 3:50 p.m., the WCSO announced that the eastbound lanes had reopened, but warned “heavy traffic and delays” should be expected.
