Competitiveness council to advise Healey on economy and quality of life

BOSTON (WWLP) – The Healey-Driscoll Administration created a Massachusetts Competitiveness Council to advise state leaders on strategies to improve the economy and quality of life.

Path to citizenship narrows for immigrants from 19 countries

The council was created in October, with the goal of ensuring state policies protect businesses, grow job opportunities, and keep the Bay State’s #1 rankings in innovation, talent, and quality of life.

This advisory group is made up of economic leaders ranging from state senators to brewery founders to chamber of commerce presidents, and it includes a seat for the western Massachusetts economic development council.
