Houston Police Wound Armed Suspect in Exchange of Gunfire During Traffic Stop Turned Chase

On Thursday morning, Houston police officers R. Kloeppel and M. Spinks were involved in a shooting that left a 33-year-old armed suspect critically wounded. The incident began during a routine traffic stop on Antione Drive, where the driver, wanted on a felony warrant, fled and crashed his vehicle near West 34th Street, according to the City of Houston.
