(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Fort Carson’s Iron Horse Park was transformed into Whoville on Friday, Dec. 5, for its WhoFest Holiday Event.
Service members, families, and veterans were invited to attend the free event held at Iron Horse Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event featured a holiday market, professional photos with Santa Claus, and entertainment for all ages. The night closed out with the official Fort Carson tree lighting.
“We actually quadrupled in size of the amount of lights we had last year because of the roaring success from the community feedback,” said Ryan Noble, Director of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Fort Carson. “So it’s a great, fun-filled holiday atmosphere for families and friends all over the Fort Carson community.”…
