14 arrested by ICE agents in Woodburn

(PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — Fourteen people were arrested by U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in one day in Woodburn.

The Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition said that all 14 were detained from one work van Wednesday morning, Dec. 3. Wednesday’s arrests mark the highest number of detentions in one day in Woodburn since Oct. 30, when an estimated 35 people were arrested.

Centro de Servicios Para Campesinos, a local farmworker organization, has reported a large number of ICE sightings Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 in Woodburn around downtown, Gatch Street, Harcastle Avenue, Legion Park and the Woodburn Premium Outlets mall…
