Former students allege inappropriate conduct by CCSD theater teacher now facing multiple charges

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Green Valley High School teacher has been arrested on multiple sex crime charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a student and getting her pregnant.

Anthony Coffield, 35, is accused of sexually assaulting a student after luring her to the school’s theater by email, according to a Henderson police report. The student was two days away from graduation and became pregnant after the assault.

Coffield has been teaching with the Clark County School District since February 2012, starting as a substitute before becoming the theater teacher at Spring Valley High School and then moving to Green Valley High School in August 2022.
