The Cold Weather Continues Before the First Day of Winter

ERIE, PA — This Monday would be a good time to wear multiple layers once again. Cold weather returns after another arctic front passes through Northwest Pennsylvania, which is when temperatures drop to the single digits and teens.

So far, temperatures in Erie have not been above freezing since last Tuesday, and the average temperature has been below the normal average every day. This might change midweek as we finally reach at least 40 degrees thanks to a strong breeze coming in from the southwest.

Unfortunately, the relief from the cold doesn’t last long as another arctic blast is expected to affect the area starting on Thursday. The highs next weekend may only reach the 20s based on the current temperature outlook 6 to 10 days from now.
