Rural Metro: Crews battled fire for 2 hours after RV caught fire in Knoxville neighborhood Thursday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A recreational vehicle caught fire in the neighborhood of Northshore Hills around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Rural Metro said that after the RV caught fire, some small explosions occurred from tires or “combustible products” inside the RV. It took firefighters around two hours to extinguish the fire, and the RV is a total loss.

Rural Metro said there were no reported injuries…
