29 kittens from Northern California arrive in San Diego looking for new homes

SAN DIEGO — More than two dozen kittens transported from an overcrowded animal shelter in Stockton will soon be available for adoption at the San Diego Humane Society, offering San Diegans an opportunity to provide homes for animals in need.

The 29 kittens arrived at the San Diego Humane Society Thursday after a long journey from the Stockton Animal Shelter.

“It’s a very close knit community of animal welfare,” said Jordan Frey of the San Diego Humane Society. “We have to be able to support each other. When we’re overcapacity we look to our partners, and when others need help they know to reach out to us as well.”…
