(KRON) — A Santa Cruz County mother who abandoned her newborn son 31 years ago before he died alone was convicted of manslaughter this week, prosecutors said.
Pamela Ferreyra, 61, of Watsonville, pleaded guilty for the death of Baby John Doe, Monterey County District Attorney Jeannine Pacioni announced Thursday.
