Cinthya Cisneros, the force behind La Cheve Bakery & Brews, has quietly flipped on the neon at Con Amor Botanas y Tequila at 815 Main Street in downtown Napa, bringing a tequila-centric nighttime hangout that reworks La Cheve favorites into shareable botanas. The new spot mixes a focused agave bar, bold murals and a family-run vibe that feels like the evening alter ego of her bakery and taproom.
Con Amor is now officially listed as “NOW OPEN,” with reservations live on Tock and walk-ins welcome when there is room. Posted hours run Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight, with a birria-focused Sunday service from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., along with the downtown address and contact details, as listed on Con Amor.
A La Cheve Sequel With A Tequila Bent
Con Amor was built as La Cheve’s downtown sister, carrying Cisneros’ family recipes and beer roots into a sleeker, cocktail-forward room on Main Street. The plan for the companion venue surfaced earlier this year, and the idea has always been that Con Amor would complement La Cheve’s brunch-and-beer personality rather than replace it, according to Eater SF.
Design And Art
Napa studio Gatto Rivera shaped the project’s visual identity, from a glowing concha logo to a full suite of brand elements that show up on the signage and menus. The studio shared an early peek at the branding as Con Amor geared up to open, highlighting the colorful, nighttime energy of the downtown space, according to Gatto Rivera.
What’s On The Menu And At The Bar
The foodboard leans on hits developed at La Cheve, including quesabirrias, gorditas, taco árabe and mashups like a pamburguesa and a sope-based pizza, with a Sunday birria service running through the middle of the day. Behind the bar, manager Chris Rodriguez focuses on agave varietals such as raicilla, bacanora and sotol, backed by signature cocktails like Los Compadres and the house margarita, La Llorona, per The Press Democrat…
