Police: Fleming man threatened Auburn residents for weeks, faces felony charge

A Fleming man turned himself in to Auburn police after investigators linked him to threatening calls and messages sent to two people over several weeks.

Officers say Daniel J. Rabuano left voicemails and sent threatening messages on multiple social media platforms. The victims told police they feared for their safety and had warned Rabuano to stop contacting them.

Police launched an investigation after receiving the complaint on November 28. Rabuano was later contacted by officers and voluntarily surrendered at Auburn Police Headquarters.

He is charged with aggravated family offense, a Class E felony, and two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor…
