A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Wilmington ATM.
Allen Jerome Smith, 42, was arrested on Dec. 5, according to a news release from the Wilmington Police Department. The Brunswick County resident was taken into custody without incident around 11:30 a.m. in a parking lot near PNC Bank at Floral Parkway and Oleander Drive.
Detectives identified Smith as a suspect from a robbery that occurred on Dec. 1 at a Bank of America ATM at 502 S. College Road. The investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges may be added…
