Council Bluffs, Iowa — Authorities are asking for the public’s help after a convicted felon failed to return to the Council Bluffs Residential Correctional Facility on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
According to officials, 31-year-old Ashley Nicole Duncan, who was serving a work-release sentence, did not report back as required. Duncan was previously convicted of Conspiracy/Commit Felony (Property) and Assault with a Weapon – Peace Officers/Others in Pottawattamie County.

Duncan is described as a White female, 5’2”, 146 pounds. She was admitted to the work-release program on July 22, 2025.
