LIST: Snow parking ordinances decleared for Rockford region, hazardous travel possible

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Snow parking emergencies have been declared for the Rockford area, which is under a Winter Weather Advisory due to expected snowfall.

According to the First Warn Weather Team, snow will continue to get steadier into the night, eventually turning to a moderate or even heavy snow by around 12AM. Snowfall rates may approach or even exceed 1″ per hour between 12-4AM. This will be the worst window for travel.

The following municipalities have declared snow emergencies for Saturday, December 6 through Sunday, December 7:
