ST. LOUIS – Firefighters responded to the site of a warehouse that caught fire last week in downtown St. Louis after it rekindled overnight Friday.
The fire occurred around 1 a.m. at the ruins of the historic Crunden Martin Warehouse facility, a 100-year-old brick complex, located near 2nd Street and Gratiot. The warehouse previously caught fire on Nov. 28.

During the fire last week, more than 200 firefighters battled flames for hours as the flames spread through several connected buildings.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were called to the scene to determine whether arson played a role in the fire. At this point, investigators do not believe foul play was involved, but the cause of the fire remains under active investigation…
