Albuquerque, NM(KKOB) – A 22-year old Albuquerque mother was in jail Friday morning after her arrest for allegedly driving drunk and crashing into a tree while her toddler was inside the car.
Shayla Poncho, was arrested by New Mexico State Police following the accident when she tried to run from the scene of the accident, on Gibson and Florida SE, and leaving the child in the vehicle.
