SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The Sioux Falls Christmas Lights Map for 2026 will launch on Saturday.
Josh Hayes created the map six years ago for his friends and family as a streamlined way to view the best lighting displays in Sioux Falls. Now, his map is used by over 15,000 people.

“Our main goal really is just to document, map out and make the best experience for folks looking for Christmas lights,” Hayes told KELOLAND News on Friday.
Hayes said the map will be ready by Saturday, Dec. 6. This year, the map has 25 spots with at least five new displays. The entire route takes about two hours to view all of the houses.
“Especially with kids, with the capacity to be in a car, we found that 25 addresses for about two hours is kind of the sweet spot,” Hayes said…
