SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Games, crafts and stuffed animals fill the tables at this year’s Sharing Christmas event. Center of Hope and The Community Outreach have worked all year long to collect donations for this week’s events.
“We give that dignity to families where they’re able to come and shop for their kids,” said Melanie Boysen, the crisis care manager for The Community Outreach. “And then even though they’re using their own funds, everything is at an extremely discounted sale price.”
All the toys are eight dollars or less, so parents can pick out brand new toys while staying on a budget.
