NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Nashville City Council passed a rezoning bill Thursday night allowing more housing options for middle income residents.
BL2025-1005 is “a good first step, or this bill is a good first step, towards addressing the housing crisis in Nashville through a data-driven approach which establishes building standards for diversity of housing types for residents at different stages of life and income levels,” Council Member Jennifer Gamble says. Gamble sponsored this bill.
