NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A convicted felon is facing multiple charges following an October shooting in South Nashville that left a young man wounded.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a 21-year-old man was shot during “an alleged narcotics transaction” in the 400 block of Arbor Ridge Drive on Oct. 30.

More than a month later, on Thursday, Dec. 4, Specialized Investigations Division detectives arrested 23-year-old Vontrell McKethan for multiple felonies related to the shooting, officials said.
Authorities said the Non-Lethal Shooting Unit identified McKethan as the suspected shooter, adding that he retrieved a gun — which had been reported stolen — from the passenger side of the vehicle and demanded the victim’s belongings, but a struggle ensued and the victim was shot in the calf…
