Enterprise native killed in terrorist attack honored by Sen. Katie Britt

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A resolution was passed to honor three sailors who were killed during a terrorist attack at Naval Air Station Pensacola six years ago.

Enterprise native and Navy Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson was killed when Mohammed Alshamrani, a Saudi Arabian pilot, opened fire on the base on December 6, 2019.

“Six years after the horrific terrorist attack at Naval Air Station Pensacola, we honor three courageous servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard our nation,” said Senator Katie Britt in a release. “Today and every day, we honor their memories, pray for their loved ones, and recommit ourselves to not only confronting the threat of terrorism at home and abroad, but also protecting our nation’s brave men and women in uniform.”…
