RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department announced on Sunday the passing of retired K9 Gavin, a former patrol dog who served the community for years before retiring in 2022.
K9 Specialist Sox was partnered with Gavin, who was certified in criminal apprehension, narcotics detection, tracking, building searches, and article searches.
