Michigan communities are holding several holiday events in December 2025. St. Joseph, Marshall, and Muskegon will each host activities that reflect local traditions.
In St. Joseph, the annual Reindog Parade will take place on December 6. Downtown will feature costumed pets and their owners. Registration is available online or in person. Judging starts at 1:00 p.m., and the parade begins at 3:00 p.m. at Elm & State Streets. Santa will be present at Santa’s House for children to visit.
Marshall’s 44th Annual Candlelight Walk, organized by the Marshall Historical Society, is scheduled for December 6 and 7. Visitors can tour five decorated historic homes by candlelight.
