Authorities have dismantled an alleged burglary ring that treated Florida shopping malls like movie sets, reportedly scaling walls and cutting through rooftops to make off with tens of thousands of dollars in high-end footwear.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrests of Herbert Davis III, Michael McCray, and Tyrone Howard following a multi-agency investigation.

The three men are accused of executing a string of calculated break-ins across Florida and Georgia, netting over $70,000 in stolen sneakers before their spree came to an abrupt end in Daytona Beach.

According to investigators, the group’s method of operation was distinct and destructive. On October 21, 2025, the masked suspects allegedly struck the Jensen Beach Mall.
