A local Citrus Heights police officer took a page out of a classic detective series to crack the case of a stolen bicycle belonging to a 13-year-old. According to a social media post by Citrus Heights PD, after the bike was taken from Rusch Park three weeks prior, Officer Munaro worked with the young victim’s family to scour online marketplaces. His diligent effort paid off when he spotted the bike up for sale.
The officer worked with the family to quickly recover a stolen bike before it could be sold to a new buyer, highlighting effective community-police collaboration.
