ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The Kirkwood Fire Department held Toys for Tots on Saturday.
The department offered families the chance to take a tour of the station and have their picture taken with Santa for bringing in a new toy.
It is important to give back. We are community servants, and it is in our blood; we just find a calling to give back to the communities we live and work in,“ said Matt Mathes, captain of the Kirkwood Fire Department. “As first responders, we see people at their worst moment, so it is kind of nice to see people at a good moment when they can donate the toys.”…
