Houston-area parents are worried about the future of a groundbreaking program for students with learning differences and neurological conditions as the University of St. Thomas shuffles the program to a new department and a major funder of scholarships has pulled future support.
A petition circulated this week as parents said they felt out of the loop about potential changes, while recent financial and accreditation troubles have eroded confidence in the university’s ability to keep supporting their children.
