SAN ANTONIO – Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones hosted a community town hall Saturday to discuss the opportunity to move the municipal elections from May to November. She wants to put the mayor’s race on the same ballot as other laws.
This comes as the city saw a nine percent voter turnout in this year’s May elections. That compared to almost twenty percent in the November elections.
