On Monday, December 8, 2025, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will attend a ribbon cutting for Bracken Square, a new affordable housing development at 715 Sligo Ave., Silver Spring. State Delegate Lorig Charkoudian, Councilmember Kate Stewart, and representatives from TM Associates and Green Street Housing will also be present.
The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs provided $9.5 million in financing for the project.
