Spotty showers, flurries and gusts expected for Saturday, Dec. 6

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — It’s a bit chilly and windy for your Saturday morning, but Southern Colorado is in for a lot of weather for the start of the weekend.

Saturday: The morning starts with temperatures in the 20s and 30s, with a few gusts along the hills. However, throughout the rest of the day you’ll see gusty conditions with winds at times, anywhere from 30 to 50 mph. There will also be spotty showers coming to the forecast in the afternoon and evening for the lower elevations and flurries for Teller County, the foothills, and mountains.

Sunday: As you head into Sunday, the temperatures are slightly cooler with highs largely in the 40s and mostly sunny skies.

The Work Week Ahead: What is this?! Autumn? It will not feel like winter at all during the work week, as an area of high pressure sets up over Southern Colorado. This will lead to highs in the 50s and 60s by midweek and into the weekend…
