KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) announced a single lane closure on eastbound Farrington Hwy between the H-1 on-tamp and Old Farrington Hwy from 11 p.m. on December 8, 2025, through 4 a.m. on Dec. 9, 2025.
During the closure, HDOT will adjust speed limit signs to reflect a construction-zone speed limit of 45 mph for the Kapolei interchange Phase 3 project. Crews will work on both mauka and makai lanes, installing bolt-on coverings on the signs.
