CHILLICOTHE — Since 1968, Ohio Penal Industries and the Ohio Department of Transportation have partnered to produce trucks that keep Ohio’s roads safe, with 175 incarcerated workers assembling plow and salt trucks at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution.
