Elementary, middle schools in Guilford County dismissing early; high schools will be remote

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County Schools announced major changes to the district’s schedule due to the Winter Weather Advisory on Monday morning.

GCS says that the district’s elementary schools and middle schools will both dismiss three hours early due to the risk of “hazardous weather in the northern part of the county.” That means elementary schools will dismiss at 11:10 a.m. and middle schools at 12:10 p.m.
