New clubhouse for kids coming to Chula Vista

Chula Vista is preparing for a new hub for youth development with the upcoming opening of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South County’s Escaya Clubhouse. The 10,000-square-foot, two-story facility will offer children and teens a safe, supportive space to explore interests, build confidence, and connect with positive mentors.

“Our inspiration comes from the commitment we made when we had to close our Chula Vista clubhouse in 2020,” said Stephanie James, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South County. “As the area continues to develop, more youth need access to safe, high-quality afterschool and summer programs. Opening this clubhouse will allow us to meet those needs proactively and ensure young people have a place where they feel supported, inspired, and connected.”
