Nearly a third of Mass. residents considering leaving due to cost of living

A Nov. 25 poll from Suffolk University and The Boston Globe finds that almost a third of Massachusetts residents want to leave due to the the cost of living in the Bay State.

Among those who responded to the poll, 32.4% said they would consider leaving Massachusetts while 67.6% said they would not.

Almost four out of 10 respondents (39.4%) view the economy as “poor” while 37.8% view it only as “fair” according to the poll. Only 18.8% view the economy as “good” and 2% view the economy as “excellent.”…
