On the morning of December 7, 2025, Delaware State Police responded to an armed robbery at Walgreens at 2719 Pulaski Highway in Newark. A male suspect, described as Black with curly black hair, wearing dark clothing and a face covering, entered the store around 8:00 a.m. He showed a handgun, restrained two employees with zip ties, took cash, and left on foot.
