Fort Worth police say a man was shot outside Hulen Mall on Saturday afternoon and the suspect has been taken into custody.
Officers were called around 2 p.m. to 4700 S. Hulen Street after receiving calls about a shooting, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Victim found near Macy’s and Red Robin
Police said they were directed to a grassy area outside the mall between Macy’s and Red Robin, where they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
Authorities said an off‑duty officer from another agency and off‑duty medical personnel were already helping the victim before Fort Worth Fire and EMS arrived to provide treatment.
