CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston County deputies are investigating a fatal collision that involved a vehicle and a pedestrian on Friday evening along Maybank Highway.
Just after 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, a vehicle was traveling on Maybank Highway near Stefan Drive towards Johns Island when it struck a pedestrian walking in the roadway, a spokesperson for the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office explained.
