ST LOUIS, Mo.- Following her performance that resulted in an individual championship at the Yellow Jacket Open, Huntingdon’s Shelby Fugate has been slated as the SLIAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week.
The Fort Mitchell, Alabama native finished the tournament hosted by Allen University with a perfect 2-0 record. After earning a bye in the quarterfinal match, she went on to win the semi-final by fall(57 seconds), and the tournament championship by tech fall(10-0).
