AVONDALE, PA — Pennsylvania State Police released a series of incident reports detailing crashes, arrests, and active investigations across Chester County between November 28 and December 6. The incidents range from deer-related collisions and weather-related crashes to DUI arrests, PFA violations, drug-related offenses, and a fraud investigation. All individuals arrested or charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Troopers responded on December 3 in Penn Township after a northbound driver on U.S. 1 struck a deer just north of Route 796. The vehicle sustained front-end damage, and no injuries were reported. Later the same day in Thornbury Township, police documented a two-vehicle crash on Route 926 when one vehicle attempted to exit a parking lot and turned into the path of another. Both drivers were uninjured.
On December 5, troopers investigated a crash at Bethel Road and Roney’s Corner Road in Lower Oxford Township after wet pavement contributed to a collision between two vehicles. A passenger reported a suspected minor injury but declined medical transport.
