A cleaning lady allegedly stole pills and ran up illicit charges on a customers’s credit card.
An 85-year-old homeowner in The Villages reported that 72 prescription Alprazolam pills had gone missing from her home, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The homeowner had last seen the prescription bottle on her kitchen countertop, next to the stove.
The homeowner also discovered several fraudulent charges on her Capital One Quicksilver credit card. The fraudulent purchases, totaling more than $500, were made at Circle K, Publix, Lucky Food Mart and Bealls.
The homeowner confronted her cleaning lady, 41-year-old Cillanne Carol Beauchamp of Summerfield. She was arrested Monday on charges of theft and fraud. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $10,000 bond…
