GARDEN CITY, Ga. (WSAV) — Mercer Middle School and Groves High School are on precautionary lockdown Monday after reportedly receiving social media threats.
A Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) spokesperson told WSAV that the schools were on precautionary lockdown after receiving threats on social media against Groves High School. This is a standard procedure in situations like these, they said.
The SCCPSS also said that there is “no indication the threat is credible at this time.” In the meantime, Campus Police are conducting a search of common areas with assistance from Chatham County K9 units…
