CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids nonprofit honored military members and first responders during the Salute to the Fallen Foundation’s Masquerade Ball, celebrating service and raising awareness about trauma faced by those on the front lines.
Organizers called the evening “an outstanding celebration of the good in our community,” while emphasizing the need to support those struggling with PTSD, depression and duty-related trauma.
