A federal lawsuit filed against Lafayette Consolidated Government and others by the mother of a man killed in 2023 by a police officer outside a nightclub has been dismissed.
U.S. District Court Judge David Joseph on Dec. 5 dismissed with prejudice all claims against LCG; Lafayette Police Officer Clayton Green; Noise, a club doing business as La Bamba on Johnston Street; and the Lafayette Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board.
