A man and his sister have been arrested after she allegedly helped him escape from the Vermilion Parish Jail. Gavin Garnica, 23, is being held without bond following his capture in Rayne. His sister, Alivia Garnica, 18, is charged with aiding in his escape and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
