HARMONY TWP., N.J. – A township in Warren County, New Jersey is fighting back against a company it says is polluting the environment and clogging up the road with trucks.
Harmony Township passed a new ordinance Monday morning to limit the number of trucks coming and going from the company Harmony Sand and Gravel. Every day outside that company, dump truck after dump truck delivers dirt from New York to fill in Harmony Township’s only gravel quarry. Ashley Guarino said the trucks are causing her a serious headache.
