BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Three individuals are facing dozens of charges after illegally hunting and killing two deer near Veterans Memorial Park, according to Tonawanda Police.
Police found the trio in a pickup truck at the park with two deer in the bed around 2 a.m. on Nov. 15, according to the State Department of Environmental Conservation. Officials said both deer had been shot earlier that night with a .22-caliber rifle from the truck on a public road closed to hunting.
