Northern Kentucky cafe ‘had to make a sad choice’, closes after more than 8 years

UNION, Ky. (WKRC) – A dining spot in Union, Ky., has closed its doors after eight and a half years of serving the community. The Farmstand Market & Café, located on Old Union Road, announced its closure on Monday night, marking Dec. 6 as the final day of lunch and dinner service.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the restaurant expressed gratitude to its patrons and staff: “This is absolutely the hardest post to put together. Saturday was our last day of lunch and dinner service. After 8 and half years, we had to make a sad choice. We have had so many great experiences with so many great guests! And we thank every single guest who dined with us. And thank you to the past and present employees who were Team Farmstand.”…
